Harvest Gathering

Let’s gather to celebrate the end of the harvest season. Drawing on Buddhist practices for cultivating our good qualities and overcoming difficult habits, and on Gathering Ground’s theme this year of Compost and Cultivate, we will reflect on the year behind us. What have we been nourishing ourselves with the past year? What seeds have we been planting, and what have we been harvesting?

As you are able, please bring a vegetarian potluck dish, snack, or drink to share. Your host will provide dishware and utensils. If possible, please bring camping chairs so we can ensure we have enough outdoor seating for everyone, and make sure you dress for the weather.

We will be meeting at a community member’s home (RSVP for address) in north Seattle, close to the E Bus line. Weather permitting, we will gather around an outdoor fire pit for part of the evening and share food inside. If you are Covid-19 cautious you can choose to stay in the outdoor space for the entire duration of the event. In case of rain, we will have an outdoor canopy-covered space.

RSVP to gatheringround.seattle@gmail.com to receive the address. Let us know your location if you are interested in a carpool and we can try and find one for you.
