Gather to honor the Autumn Equinox and the change of the seasons with a half-day retreat. Somatic movement, reflection, song, conversation, and deepening together in our relationships with nature and the seasonal cycles. Outdoor fire, weather allowing. Vegetarian potluck lunch.
On the Autumn Equinox, the sun moves directly over Earth’s equator. Day and night are roughly the same length. The cycles of Solstices and Equinoxes has been observed by cultures around the world for a very long time, and also noticed by animals, plants, and our bodies. Across many times and cultures, Equinoxes have been powerful symbols of the cyclic nature of our lives and the world around us.
Free will offering to help meet our expenses (about $40/person, suggested donation $0-75).
