We will gather in our regular grove of large cedar and sequoia trees at the Arboretum, where we will share activities and reflection around ecospirituality and eco-meaning making. What draws us to deeper connection with the world we are a part of? In our own journeys, what have we been finding as we explore and deepen in that relationship? At times, some of us have shared about being drawn to the world out of awe, or turning to it to find a sense of radical acceptance and belonging, to find wisdom about our own lives through observing the greater patterns of life. We have turned towards that relationship to find expansion, to find holding, to find escape, to find purpose or service, to find pretty rocks — many different things. Let’s talk and explore around that.

This will be an outdoors hybrid gathering. We’ll be gathering in our regular grove of large cedar and sequoia trees at the Arboretum (Searchable as Montlake Tot Lot, we meet about 40ft to the south of the playground, here is a map pin of our location). You can also join us on Zoom. We’ll bring some spare camping chairs, and folks can also bring their own seats if convenient to ensure we have enough seating.

If desired, bring snacks to share.

Email gatheringround.seattle@gmail.com for any questions or access needs and to get the Zoom link.

Accessibility: There is abundant free street parking. No steps and a fairly level ground. From the street there are approximately 40 ft of flat dirt trail to our meeting spot. Please don't hesitate to reach out if this or anything else would be barrier to you so we can find ways to make the gathering accessible. Nearest restroom at the Montlake Library 2 blocks away.
