We gather to honor Autumn Equinox with a day-long event where we can more deeply sink into community and the earth and honor the turning of the seasons and the cycles we are a part of.
We have a morning session and an afternoon session, with lunch in between (typically around or a bit after noon). Folks are free to come and go at any time, attending all or part of the day. Our day involves a mix of silence, connecting with our bodyminds, sharing with one another, and deepening together in our relationship with the natural world. Vegetarian potluck lunch. Free will offering to help meet our expenses.
Autumn Equinox is a time to celebrate the bounty of the earth and all that nourishes our communities. We’ll be collectively building an altar as part of our ritual practice. The altar will include things that represent the fruits that we are celebrating (literal and metaphorical). This could include photos, plants, art, words, small items – you are invited to bring anything(s) you want to contribute to our altar (and you are welcome to take it home with you after).

Accessibility: We plan on meeting at a home in the Meadowbrook neighborhood. There is a sloped driveway and three steps to the door. There is ample street parking. There are cats at the home who can be shut away for the gathering if needed. There is a dog at the home who will be away.
COVID Safety Plan: We will be meeting indoors and outdoors (weather allowing). Masks optional. Please stay home if you are having symptoms of anything contagious. If you need different guidelines, please email gatheringround.seattle@gmail.com so we can talk about an inclusive plan.
