Seven years ago we launched this experiment: a community for people forging meaning in new ways. Today you can make a difference in this experiment at a critical moment: as we ride the momentum of a growing community and weather the transition beyond our founding leader. Gathering Ground is joyfully forging meaning, supported by community partners and friends like you! Join our momentum by making a gift or pledge toward the people served by Gathering Ground’s 2024 work.

During 2023 we discerned a core place of service is to Queer Folk, more intentionally moving members of that identity into leadership. We invested in a ladder of online engagement. We joined the Wild Church Network. All these steps nurtured growth in numbers and consistency of our “molten corps” members. Our annual discernment retreat emerged with MOMENTUM as a key word!
This experimental space launches into a new phase of momentum in 2024. We have just selected the Convener who will replace our founding leader: Kiran Frank (they/them), a seasoned maker of ritual, community, and meaning who has been on our staff for a year. The community plans two informal gatherings each month and two larger community events, along with online resources and community building. Most groups like us do not live past their founder. This is a big deal to celebrate!
