Queerness is Natural (Zoom)

We're celebrating and playfully exploring queer ecology and connecting with our bodyminds. Let's get curious about the glorious complexity of the whacky wild abundantly diverse world we live in.

Are giraffes gay?

What is natural?

What can we gain when we expand our focus from a nuclear family to an interdependent web of every shade of relationship?

What if we explore dichotomies and hierarchies like human vs nature and male vs female?

Email gatheringround.seattle@gmail.com for any questions, and to receive the Zoom link

In 2025, we are gathering around a theme of rooting. Rooting is strengthening our connections with what nourishes us. It is connecting with deep wisdoms and sources, traditions and lineages. It is grounding and drawing strength from the earth and elements. It is exploring beneath the surface of ourselves and our world. We tend to our roots so that we’re able to take in the nourishment we need to grow, so we can grow fruit to nourish the world around us.

Accessibility: This will be a Zoom gathering. We read aloud comments typed in chat. Cameras are optional; most of us participate with cameras on to help build community. Please email gatheringround.seattle@gmail.com with any access needs and we’ll do our best to meet them.
